Palestinian Museum Tower

This tower is located between Bab Al-Sahira and Burj al-Luq Luq, across from Al-Rashidiya School. It consists of a large building block that rises above the level of the wall, built to increase the wall’s immunity. The Tower is surrounded by a deep trench that surrounds the walls of the northern façade. The Tower is decorated with beautiful design elements. It also includes a beautifully written inscription stating that the person who ordered the building of this wall is Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in 945 Hijri / 1539 AD. Visitors can see many decorative elements consisting of circular stones and three-leaved plants.
