Sabil Ibrahim al-Rumi

The Sabil is located to the northeast of Bab al-Nazir, around 10 meters away from it. The founder of the Sabil is unknown, but it was renovated and renewed by Ibrahim al-Rumi in 839 Hijri / 1435-1436 AD. The Sabil's architecture is straightforward; it consists of a square room topped by a shallow dome.

The east wall has a door leading to the inside the chamber, and the other three walls have a window each, with water troughs for drinking.

The Sabil is currently functioning, and the water is cooled using an electric refrigerator connected to some faucets used to extract the water from the Sabil.
